The Art of Storytelling Through Photography workshop organized by the School of Film and Media on November 27, 2023 engaged fifteen B.Sc. Filmmaking students. Led by photographer and academician, Mr. Dinesh Bhatlavande, the workshop aimed to empower participants with skills to convey compelling stories through photography. It proved to be fostering a deeper appreciation for the storytelling potential of their craft.

Additionally, a Sound Recording Workshop by Mr. Pinak Agte for Journalism and Media Production students introduced industry-level recording techniques. Fifteen students experienced recording with H4N recorders, Boom Microphones, and learned various techniques for on-field reporting. The workshop provided insights crucial for their audio-visual news production work.

Furthermore, on November 21 and 22, 2023, an Editing Workshop conducted by Mr. Ashay Gatade for the School of Film and Media students equipped six journalism students with essential editing skills using Premiere Pro software. The hands-on experience in editing software complemented their studies in News Production techniques, enhancing their ability to develop news stories effectively.
