School of Film & Media Presents a Cultural Extravaganza – Chatori Gali 

On April 20, 2022, the Ajeenkya DY Patil University campus came alive with the triumphant return of Chatori Gully 2022 after a two-year hiatus, captivating both staff and faculty with its magnificent presence. The event was inaugurated by the esteemed Vice Chancellor, Prof. Hrridaysh Deshpande, and commenced with a themed cake-cutting ceremony, followed by a high-energy flash mob performed by the enthusiastic BBA first year students.

Under the adept guidance of Ms. Sanskriti Jain’s leadership, students showcased their exceptional event planning skills, transforming the venue into a vibrant carnival adorned with fifteen lively canopies housing student-managed food and game stalls. Drawing an impressive crowd of over two thousand enthusiasts, the event embraced the mantra – Good Food Creates Good Mood, offering more than twenty culinary delights and refreshing summer treats.

The day reached a cultural crescendo with a two-hour live performance by the youthful musical band, Aghaaz, graciously sponsored by Balraj Productions, bringing diverse talents to the forefront. The celebration concluded with a foot-tapping DJ night, not only enhancing the overall atmosphere but also significantly boosting vendor sales.

In essence, Chatori Gully 2022 at the university was not just an event; it was a resounding success, bringing the community together for a day filled with grandeur, entertainment, and a delightful culinary experience.
